Wiring

The logic 5V and miscellaneous 5V power supply for Logic 5V and miscellaneous 5V power, is designated PS1 and the dual plus and minus 15V power supply for the traction current, to operate points of turnouts and to operate decoupler solenoids, is designated PS2.

The drawing below shows the destination of the wire on one side of a wire only. This is the side of the terminals with the fewest connections. The wires and terminals of the power supply have the same colour to indicate where the wires should be connected. The colours are:

RD	Up	The positive voltage for traction, decouplers and point motors of 15 V
BL	Un	The negative voltage for traction, decouplers and point motors of 15 V
VT	Ul	The supply voltage for logic devices of 5 V
BN	Um	The supply voltage for miscellaneous devices e.g. track circuits, lights of signals, mimic panels and houses of 5 V
BK	GND	The supply voltage of 0 V, i.e. any ground wire

The wires are stranded to make them flexible and to avoid skin effect. The wires have enough over length to remove the connections and trace the wires.

The conductor size in the drawing below is given in mm².
